Now that you have reflected on the Turing Test consider this:

“The Blurring Test turns the Turing Test on its head and challenges humans to assert their humanity rather than the computer to assert intelligence. . . . Can you claim that your “human” attributes will forever be exclusively human? . . .

The Blurring Test is about human progress: Someday it might be important to convince our computers (and each other) that we are human.”

Soon computers will be able to ask you penetraing questions. Maybe they will ask you to prove you are a human.

Artifical Intelligence Activity

Go on the web and find a chatbot, ALICEBot, OliverBot, Tom or similar program that is designed to carry on a conversation. You will need to find one that you can either run on-line or download, but you need a working one and not just a description of one.

Conduct a conversation with the chatbot. Consider whether you think it could compete with a human in an “imitation game” type of Turing Test.
